Dear members,

 The Marshal presented an idea to me about creating a program to mobilize fire prevention inspectors to regions recovering after an emergency. The program provides a comprehensive framework for effective and efficient deployment of fire inspectors to disasters. The Marshal has an interest in starting something like this in Massachusetts, the program would run the same as a DFS Regional Response Unit. 

 The Marshal was introduced to this idea while attending a presentation by Jon Pasqualone and Tommy Demopoulos at the Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association Conference. FPAM being the main group for fire prevention professionals, the Marshal is making arrangements to have the gentleman present this at one of our quarterly meetings. The hope would be to have an overview of the program, Q & A and get feedback from our members. I have attached the manual for your review. We are still working on the actual date…
