-FPAM Conference 2026 member registration is now open. Hotel reservation deadline is 4/16/2026. Member early bird registration is 4/17/2026 and a late fee will apply to any registration after this date. Absolute registration deadline is May 1st 2026 and no reservations will be accepted after this date. Any Goggin Award nominations should be forwarded to a board member prior to April meeting for a vote.

-Central Mass Fire Prevention Group is active and and interested members should contact Dennis for more info. 

​

-FPAM is looking for suggestions on possible logo rebranding for the organization. Forward any proposed ideas to an FPAM board member. 

​

-Jacob Kreyling (Beverly FD) has been nominated for consideration for the Vacant District 4 Group C Board member position

​

-The membership has approved of the donation to John Guilfoil PR Golf Tournament to benefit the Hundred Club of Massachusetts

​

-Nominations for NFPA/HFSC Bringing Safety Home Award are due 4/3/2026

​

-FPAM Officers scheduled to meet with the Fire Marshall 3/11/2026

​

-Elevator response forms should be filled out for any elevator related response. Forms can be located on Mass.gov website

​

-Class "L" fire extinguishers being looked at in UK for use on Lithium Ion battery fires but not available in the US currently

​

-Code change proposal forms can be found online on Mass.gov but should include supporting information with submitted suggestions
