The National Fire Academy has partnered with the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Foundation to offer a new, premier wildland-urban interface (WUI) course: "Wildland-Urban Interface Risk Assessment & Mitigation for the Fire Service." This two-day course (16 instruction hours) brings science-based fire engineering research and guidance to fire service personnel operating in WUI areas.
