Drone use in Inspections and Pre-Fire Planning
Is anyone using Drones for Inspections or Pre-Fire Plans? Falmouth Fire is purchasing a small drone to assist in roof to inspections and we are looking to see how others are using their drones.
For those that are using drones, did your pilots get their Part 107 license or did the department apply for a Certificate of Authorization (COA) from the FAA.

We have a drone which is available to me for inspection purposes. I did use it during a fire investigation to inspect portions of the roof that were not accessible with our Tower Ladder. Yes, our Deputy Chief got his Part 107 license.
