We are in the process of adjusting our fees for different fire department functions and are specifically interested in other municipalities and if anyone has a fee that is charged for commercial building inspections. If you have a fee structure for this type of activity, please include the fee and any breakoff you have for smaller or larger buildings.

Recently Falmouth, Ma Fire Department responded to a house fire. Roof solar panels were a factor in the incident. Please take note of similar incidents that can occur in your community. (Photos courtesy: Falmouth, Ma Fire Department).
Oddly enough, the PV panels weren't the cause, the fire was most likely caused by squirrels building a nest and chewing through some wires.
